Last Will and Testament of Joseph M. Cribbs
I, J. M. Cribbs of Borough of Blairsville, County of Indiana and State
of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make
and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and void all
former wills by me at any time heretofore made.
First: I direct my executors hereinafter named, to pay all my just debts,
funeral expenses and collateral inheritance on both real and personal property
subject thereto as soon after my death as convenient.
Second: I will bequeath to my daughter Olla E. Baker my piano and family
Bible.
Third: I will and bequeath to my son Thomas P. Cribbs my belt and
saber that I carried during the Civil War, to be kept in the Cribbs family
generation after generation, or for all time. To my grandson J. M.
Cribbs, my gold watch: To my grandson Joseph M. Floyd my gold watch chain
and charm that is on the chain.
Fourth: I direct that my executors sell the property on the corner
of Market and Brady Streets for the best price that can be obtained for
the same and to make, execute and deliver a good and sufficient deed for
the same to the purchaser or purchasers without asking leave of court the
funds and moneys in Banks, after the payment of all expences are paid the
total sum remaining shall go to my sons and daughters share and share alike.
Fifth: The furniture and house furnishings in the house to be divided
as near equal as possible between my children.
I do hereby make, constitute and appoint the Savings and Trust Company
of Indiana, Indiana, Pa., to be Executors of this my last will and testament.
In witness whereof, I, J. M. Cribbs, the Testator above named, have hereunto
subscribed my name and affixed my seal the twenty ninth day of May in the
year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred twenty two.
Signed, sealed, published and delivered by the above named J. M. Cribbs
as and for his last will and testament, in the presence of us, who have
hereunto subscribed our names at his request as witnesses thereto in the
presence of the said testator and of each other.

Before me, James D. McCunn, Deputy Register for the Probate of Wills, and
granting letters of administration in and for said county, personally appeared
John M. Beatty and J. C. Watson subscribing witnesses to the foregoing
instrument of writing, purporting to be the last will and testament of
J. M. Cribbs late of Blairsville Borough in the county of Indiana, deceased,
who being sworn according to law, depose and say they were personally present
and saw and heard the said testator sign, seal and declare the foregoing
instrument of writing, as and for his last will and testament, and that
they signed their names as witnesses to said instrument of writing, in
the presence of said testator and at his request, and in the presence of
each other, and at the time of signing the same he the said testator was
of sound and disposing mind, memory and understanding, to the best of their
knowledge and belief, and that as they shall answer to God at the Great
Day.
