Last Will and Testament of John C. Cribbs

            Will received for record this 24th day of October AD 1914, 10-45 o'clock AM.
    Estate of  John C. Cribbs, Deceased.
            I, John C. Cribbs, widower, of Summit Township, in the County of Mason and State of
       Michigan, being of sound mind and memory, do make, publish and declare this to be my Last
       Will and Testament, in a manner following, viz:
            First, I Will and direct that all my just debts and funeral expenses be paid in full.
            Second, I give, devise and bequeath unto my son George Cribbs, in consideration of the
       kindness, help and care shown me in the past ($1000.00) One Thousand Dollars worth of personal
       property or its equivalent in cash as he may choose.
            Thirdly, I give, devise and bequeath unto my children and heirs the share set opposite their
       respective names, said share to be paid out of the residue of my estate whether of real or personal
       property after the foregoing bequests have been paid in full.
            The following are the names of my children & heirs who are to be particilate according to the
       share set opposite their names, to wit:
            1,  Civilla Lent, is to have one share,
            2,  George Cribbs, is to have one share,
            3,  Luella Kistler, is to have one share,
            4,  Philip Cribbs, is to have one share,
            5,  James Cribbs, is to have one half a share, and his two daughters by his first marriage are
            to have one quarter share each.
            6,  Hattie Rinehardt, is to have one share,
            7,  William Cribbs, is to have one share,
            8,  Laura Cribbs, daughter of my son Albert Cribbs, deceased, is to have one half share.
            Furthermore I hereby appoint Clay P. Olmstead of Ludington, Mich, Executer of this my Last
       Will and Testament.
            Lastly, I hereby revoke all former wills by me at any time made.
            In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and seal this 28th day of May in the year
       of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirteen.

            On this 28th day of May AD 1913, John C. Cribbs, of Summit Township in the County of Mason
       and State of Michigan, signed the foregoing instrument in our presence, and declared it to be his
       Last Will and Testament, and as witnesses thereof we do now, at his request, in his presence, and
       in the presence of each other, hereto subscribe our names.
